1 week of text/phone/email support
During a breastfeeding consult, we’ll review your intake form, observe a breastfeed, and weigh your infant before and after the feed to determine breast milk transfer. Next, we’ll do an oral assessment on your infant including an evaluation of the suck strength and function of the tongue. Together, we’ll create a plan of care that has been mutually agreed upon including resources and handouts, and we’ll help connect you with any referrals if necessary.
You will be given our contact information to use if any questions or concerns arise following our visit. We will respond between the hours of 8am and 10pm, 7 days of the week.

When breastfeeding isn’t as simple or enjoyable as you’d like, we are here to support you. Follow-up visits are sometimes needed for more complicated situations (slow infant weight gain, recurrent mastitis, slow recovery from birth/birth trauma, subsequent feeding and bonding complications) but don’t worry, we’ll find a plan that works best for you and your baby.

A great pump to help initiate and maintain a good milk supply
$95/month + GST. Rented per month
Pump kits (bottles, flanges, tubing) are sold separately ($79 +gst)
If not renting at the time of a IBCLC home visit; travel can be arranged for drop off at your home. Travel fee applies.
